The Mirage took guests on an interactive 3-part journey, showcasing Spark AR technology in never-before-used applications. To display the power of AR, we combined mediums, creating a collage of artwork, static and motion, 2D and 3D. We developed a target made of neon light, a target-in-motion, and our hero piece: a mixed-media mural where print, projection and AR blurred together to create a dynamic visual symphony of colorful natural elements. The partnership with Lucy Hardcastle Studio celebrated an emerging female digital artist in, furthering Refinery29’s promise to deliver diverse storytelling, experiences, and points of view to an audience of smart, curious, passionate women.
